Tomato Mozzarella Burrata Religieuse

Surprise your guests with this exquisite recipe. This starter looks like a French desert but it really tastes like Tomato Mozzarella, but in even better with the Burrata.

Ingredients

For 6 persons - Preparation time : 50 minutes


  • 6 vine tomates
  • 6 cocktail tomatoes
  • ¾ cup of sugar
  • 5.07 of white vinegar
  • 4 bunches of basil
  • 2 Mozzarella Burrata
  • 100 g of cream cheese
  • 1 tbsp of single cream
  • salt, pepper


Method

STEP 1

Bring water to the boil in a saucepan. Prepare a salad bowl with water and ice cubes.

 

STEP 2

Make a slight incision in every tomato and plunge them into the water one by one.


STEP 3

Plunge every tomato into in the cold water and remove the skin. Cut the vine tomatoes to one third of their height and empty them. Empty the cocktail tomatoes from beneath, in order to keep their stalk.

 

STEP 4

Pour 1 litter of water, sugar and vinegar in a saucepan and bring to the boil. Off the heat, add the bunched of basil and infuse for 10 minutes under cover. Filter and then bring to the boil again. Pour this juice on the vine tomatoes, film and set aside in the fridge for one night.

 

STEP 5

Mix the two Burratas with salt and pepper and then put the mix in a piping bag. Whip the cream cheese with the single cream. Put the preparation in a piping bag.

 

STEP 6

Stuff the vine tomatoes and the cocktail tomatoes with the Burrata. Put one cocktail tomato on every vine tomato. Create little piles of cream cheese and single cream with the piping bag between the two tomatoes.

 

STEP 7

Serve with a quality olive oil and a good basil pesto. Enjoy !
